Apple Arcade: Every New Game Arriving in February

Apple Arcade — a CNET Editors’ Choice award pick — features hundreds of games to play for just $5 (£5, AU$8) a month. The service offers familiar and classic games, as well as exclusive titles. You can find these games in the regular App Store, but they have paywalls and ads that might hinder your gaming experience. With an Apple Arcade subscription, you can play each game without paywalls or ads at no extra charge.

Here are the new games you can play in February.

Castle Crumble

Developer: Orbital Knights

In this Apple Arcade exclusive, you have an arsenal of cannonballs, magic beams, freezing mortars and other tools to pulverize castles in different kingdoms. This physics-based puzzle game asks the question, How many ways can you bring a castle down?

Riptide GP: Renegade+

Release date: Feb. 10

This futuristic racing game is like a cross between a Need for Speed game and the classic title Wave Race 64. Your character is an illegal hydro jet racer in the future who’s been kicked out of the legal racing world. You have to outrun the competition and the cops through city waterways, flooded ruins and factory machinery to reclaim your reputation and title. You can play single-player mode or race against up to eight opponents from around the world in online races.

Farmside

Developer: Team17 USA
Release date: Feb. 17

If you’ve ever dreamed about inheriting an abandoned family farm and living a life away from the big city, Farmside is for you. In this farming sim, your character inherits and moves to a farm on Nemo Island and builds a dream farm that you can fill with crops, orchards and more. Complete quests and challenges to build the bustling, peaceful farm you’ve always wanted.

Lifeline+

Developer: 3 Minute Games
Release date: Feb. 24

This first in a series of text-based games is a sci-fi survival game full of suspense. The game tells the story of Taylor, the only survivor of a spaceship crash on an alien moon. You get into contact with Taylor and serve as the only means of surviving. The story plays out in real time, with new messages delivered throughout the day and varying delays between the parts of the story.
